You can schedule spays or neuters for dogs and cats online through our pet portal. For rabbits, other surgeries, or dentals, please call or email.

If your pet is less than 10 years old, in most cases no! We will perform a pre-surgical exam the morning of the scheduled surgery.
If your pet is older than 10 years old, we do require a free pre-surgical exam and bloodwork ($48) to be performed at least 1 week prior to surgery. Pre-surgical exams are performed Tuesday - Friday from 2-4 pm. You do not need an appointment.

We offer vaccinations, microchips, and heartworm testing on Fridays from 10 am -2 pm. You do not need an appointment.
We can also perform these services at the time of surgery.

Yes! We offer surgical suits and soft cones that are available for purchase to help your pet recover from surgery in comfort.

Yes! Having witnessed firsthand the animal overpopulation problem in our state, we will only perform procedures on spayed/neutered pets.
We are happy to spay/neuter your pet on the same day as any other procedure.

We do not offer sick pet care.

If you think your pet is having a minor surgical complication such as a small open area, redness, or oozing at the incision site, make sure they are wearing a cone/surgical suit. Please send us an email with a picture of your pet's incision and a description of the problem to info@abqspayneuter.com. We will get back to you within 24 hours.
If you think your pet is having a major surgical complication such as tissue coming out of the incision, extreme pain, pale gums, or other things that concern you; please bring your pet in to our facility right away during normal business hours. If it is after hours, please seek emergency veterinary care.
